Where to begin, on May 19, 2008, my best friend went to be with Jesus. After 24.5 years of marriage, I felt like part of me had been removed. Over the last 10mos. I have been seeking God to find out who I am, now that I am no longer Larry's wife. God in his graciousness has shown me I am His. I am no longer Mary Ellen, Larry's wife, the pastors' wife. I am Mary Ellen God's child, still Elyse,Katy & Luke's mom. Life does go on and there are a lot of new norms for my whole family, but in honor of Larry and our love for The Father, we are moving on. He promises to be a father to the fatherless, husband to the widow. Through Christ all things are possible.".
